CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer opening for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Description: An Application Developer with expertise in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) specializes in creating message flows using various ESB tools and technologies, such as Software AG, WebSphere DataPower, SI, Tibco, and Mule. They possess extensive knowledge of web services, including SOAP and HTTP protocols, SSL/TLS encryption, and decryption. This individual is proficient in the entire software development lifecycle, including problem analysis, requirement analysis, high-level design, low-level design, development, testing, documentation, production support, and configuration of the integration environment. Additionally, they have hands-on experience with one or more relational databases, such as Oracle and SQL Server. Key responsibilities include: Integration design and development API development Data mapping Integration testing Performance optimization Troubleshooting and maintenance Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills for complex, distributed applications Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and container orchestration Knowledge of microservices architecture and API integrations Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Ingress Controllers) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub) Experience with databases (SQL, Oracle) and troubleshooting queries Nice to Have Skills: Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, Splunk) Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in application development with a focus on integration technologies Proven track record in delivering complex distributed applications Hands-on experience with API design, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90K to $120K. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
