**Your role and responsibilities**
The MuleSoft SR Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using the MuleSoft platform, facilitating efficient communication between applications and services.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop APIs to integrate various applications.
Manage the full API lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring using tools such as Anypoint Exchange, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
Implement API security policies: authentication, authorization, access control, rate limiting, and throttling.
Design, develop, and maintain REST and SOAP APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Ensure that APIs follow good design practices such as RAML/OAS, security, scalability, and reusability.
Create and maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation for developed APIs, including flows, dependencies, and configurations.
Collaborate with architects and technical leads in the design of integration solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices.
Stay up-to-date on the latest MuleSoft releases, integration best practices, microservices, and emerging trends in the API ecosystem.
Guide junior and intermediate developers on API development and implementation best practices.
Perform code reviews, ensuring development quality and alignment with defined standards.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience developing integrations or APIs.
Minimum 2 years of proven experience developing with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4 preferred).
Proficiency in RAML, DataWeave, and Mule connectors.
Strong knowledge of protocols and technologies: HTTP/S, REST, SOAP.
Experience with versioning tools (Git), automation (Maven, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), and deployment control.
API security knowledge: OAuth 2.0, JWT, client credentials, IP whitelisting.
Familiarity with monitoring and debugging: Anypoint Monitoring, Logging, CloudHub, Splunk.
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Salesforce, on-premise).
Familiarity with streaming platforms: Apache Kafka.
Highly Valued:
Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.
Knowledge of TmForum
