CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant – DevOps opening for our client in Chicago, IL. Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 3 months Duties: Perform technical analysis of client IT environments to improve efficiency using DevOps tools and methodologies in traditional or cloud environments. Prepare gap analysis documents and design proposed DevSecOps automation adoption roadmaps covering both development and operations. Architect DevSecOps tooling infrastructures and define interface requirements across integrated toolsets and platforms. Provide mentorship and guidance to DevOps Engineers, supporting project delivery across Solution/Build/Test/Deploy lifecycle activities. Implement and support Application Performance Management solutions. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, industry practices, and market trends to assist in developing solution offerings. Skills: Strong expertise in DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Hands-on experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native solutions. Ability to architect and integrate DevSecOps platforms and tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical design skills. Strong communication and mentorship abilities. Nice to have: Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or other relevant DevOps/Cloud certifications. Experience: Proven experience in implementing and supporting DevOps/DevSecOps solutions across development and operations. Background in solution design, infrastructure architecture, and application performance management. Experience mentoring technical teams and leading DevOps initiatives. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
