Your ability to accelerate impact and make meaningful change for your clients is enabled by our strategic partner ecosystem and our robust technology platforms across the IBM portfolio **Your role and responsibilities** * Participate in DDS infrastructure changes impacting supported applications. * Log and address defects as needed. * Proactive monitoring to ensure general health of application databases. * Proactive review of storage consumption and identifying requirements **Required technical and professional expertise** * Provide complete database administration support for assigned applications. * Maintain information in the DDS inventory for supported applications. * Participation in design sessions with application teams. * Participation in application review meetings prior to deployment. * Review of all DDL changes prior to deployment to ensure standards are met and design doesn’t adversely impact performance of the application **Preferred technical and professional experience** * SQL DBA Architect. * Experience in DDS, DDL IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
