**Introduction** **Your role and responsibilities** Application Architect, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 60% telecommuting permitted): * Assist application teams by providing the high available CI/CD platform to speed up software development, automated builds, continuous integration, continuous code inspection and continuous deployments. * Work with TDS (Technology Delivery Service) & ERM (Enterprise Release Management) teams to understand and finalize the requirements to both technical and testing teams. * Ensure a walkthrough of the requirements to both technical and testing teams. Identify security issues on the tools during upgrade and patching activities. * Collaborate with subject matter experts, architects, and cross functional teams to determine the best design solution and translate into technical system design document. * Develop detailed test plan and test case documents for Agile and DevOps tools. * Work with client and communicate project status on a regular bases. * Troubleshoot, identify and resolve incidents. * Analyze the existing system and propose value adds and system improvements through automation. * Utilize Rational UDeploy, Atlassian Bitbucket, Atlassian Bamboo, SDLC, Agile Methodology. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related and two (2) years of experience as an Application Engineer, Application Developer or related.
