Application Analyst I

Purpose Statement:  Application Analysts provide Customer Service Excellence by helping customers resolve issues in a timely manner while also driving to root cause to prevent recurrence, providing daily “care and feeding” for core applications to ensure availability and performance, providing conceptual design expertise to solutions, owning the application life cycle (patching, upgrades, security updates, etc.), and managing relationships with key third party software suppliers.

Key Job Accountabilities:

Team Work and Collaboration: Provide customer service excellence in supporting Plexus teammates through incident support, management and resolution.Implementation: Help manage and successfully deliver low to moderate complexity efforts.Support and Service Delivery: Act as first line of contact for End User application related support, utilizing tool knowledge related to the assigned area, or/and perform system monitoring trend analysis.Testing (APAC Only): Collaborate with technical analysts and developers and/or assisting with functional testing and application management.Business Value and Innovation (APAC Only): Assist with documenting detailed systems requirements encompassing screen mockups and diagrams.All GT team members are responsible for upholding the organization's cybersecurity posture by adhering to security policies and procedures, actively participating in training, protecting data and systems, actively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity or potential security incidents.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is required.Zero (0) years of related experience is required; one (1) to two (2) years of related experience is preferred.Proficient English reading, writing, and speaking abilities required.Experience in computing systems or IT support is required.

Other Qualifications:  

Packages, object and change management using SDLC methodology.Misc. JDE configurations such as printers, job queues, etc.Security, menu and UDO execution and understanding.Audit and Compliance control test execution and evidence collecting.General JDE maintenance using Server Manager and VDI installation.Maintain the confidentiality of all departments, company and customer information while working safely at all times.The ability to support around the clock monitoring and management and may result in support or activities after normal business hours.

Physical Requirements:  

Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
