Description

UCLA Health is seeking a talented and proactive Application Analyst to join our dynamic Information Services team. If you’re passionate about improving healthcare through technology and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment—this role is for you.

What You’ll Do Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize Tapestry applications—including Premium Billing and Benefits Engine Design, build, test, and support new application modules and enhancements Develop deep expertise in supported systems and operational workflows Respond to service requests and incidents within defined Service Level Agreements Act as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned functionality and workflows Escalate vendor issues, track resolutions, and report feature gaps Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process improvements Provide on-call support in alignment with team rotation schedules Follow robust change control processes and ensure thorough documentation Create training aids and occasionally deliver end-user training Complete project deliverables with accuracy and timeliness Evaluate new software releases and advocate for beneficial functionality adoption Build strong relationships with business owners and serve as CRM on small projects Collaborate in cross-functional workgroups as assigned Uphold UCLA C-I-CARE standards and institutional policies Model professional conduct and contribute to continuous improvement efforts What We’re Looking For Experience working with Tapestry systems in a healthcare setting Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to excellence and service-oriented mindset

This flexible hybrid role allows for a blend of remote and on-site work, requiring presence on-site at least 10% of the time, within 12 hours of being asked to come on site, and as needed based on operational requirements. Please note, travel to the “home office” location is not reimbursed. Each employee will complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager to outline expectations and ensure mutual understanding. These arrangements are periodically reviewed and may be adjusted or terminated as necessary.

Salary offers are based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The full salary range for this position is $102,500 – $227,500 annually. The University anticipates offering a salary between the 102,500 and $150,000 annually.
