Must Have Skills:

Minimum 6+ years of experience in support and operation process with below skills- 

\n \n \n

DB PL/SQL: Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (performance tuning of SQL queries) 

\n \n \n

Servers : Linux (must)-Understanding and through knowledge of Linux server environment (bash)  

\n \n \n

Script: Bash/Python/PL/SQL 

\n \n \n

Application Server: Apache Tomcat  

\n \n \n

Production Support : Troubleshoot application problems, analyse logs and provide details 

\n \n \n

 Good to Have Skills 

\n \n \n

 Report: PowerBI /Webfocus report  

\n \n \n

ETL tools : ODI/OWB 

\n \n \n

Good knowledge of system security, update OS process, analyse vulnerability, apply patches

Communication: Should have good analytical and communication skills. Create any necessary

Documentation: Create necessary documentation as part of the support activity, RCA and process.

 Job Roles / Responsibilities:   

\n \n \n

 Support running production application, validate data, validate data replication between multiple databases and data processing with client. 

\n \n\n\n

 Analyse application logs to validate if application is running as expected. 

\n\n\n

 Support QA Platform: validate deployment package provided by dev team, deploy application to QA platform, validate application is running as expected in QA environment. 

\n\n\n

 Identified potential issues in QA and report to dev team. 

\n\n\n

 Develop required script which will help in day-to-day support activity LSQL - Procedures/Functions, bash/python scripts and Windows bat script. 

\n\n\n

 Deploy application to staging and production environment. Validate deployment, test application, debug application. 

\n\n\n

Coordinate support activity across support team and getting job done. 

\n\n\n

PL/SQL Development: 

\n\n\n

Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts. 

\n\n\n

Write efficient and optimized PL/SQL code for business logic and data manipulation. 

\n\n\n

Database Design and Management: 

\n\n\n

Create and manage database objects such as tables, views, indexes, sequences, and synonyms. 

\n\n\n

Normalize database schema and enforce data integrity using constraints. 

\n\n\n

Understanding on OLTP and OLAP 

\n\n\n

Performance Tuning: 

\n\n\n

Analyze and optimize existing PL/SQL code and queries for performance. 

\n\n\n

Use tools like SQL Trace, TKPROF, and Explain Plan to identify bottlenecks. 

\n\n\n

Data Integration: 

\n\n\n

Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using PL/SQL to migrate and transform data. 

\n\n\n

Work with external systems for data import/export. 

\n\n\n

Debugging and Troubleshooting 

\n\n\n

Debug PL/SQL code and resolve run-time errors. 

\n\n\n

Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing. 

\n\n\n

Collaboration with Other Teams 

\n\n\n

Work with front-end and middleware developers to integrate PL/SQL logic with applications. 

\n\n\n

Collaborate with data analysts, DBAs, and business analysts to understand data requirements. 

\n\n\n

Support: 

\n\n\n

Support production environments and handle on-call support for PL/SQL-based issues. 

\n\n\n

Ability to check and simulate the production tickets and provide the fix in a timeline 

\n\n\n

Shell Scripting: 

\n\n\n

Monitoring the crontab jobs to validate the smooth process of daily loads 

\n\n\n

Ability to write and understand the shell script 

\n
