We have a hiring need a Apigee API Software Developer! The Apigee API Software Developer plays a key technical role on the Enterprise API Solutions and Apigee Platform Team with a focus on building reusable API services and assisting application teams with technical challenges on the Apigee X platform. While primarily working with Google Apigee, the Developer will design, develop, and troubleshoot API services. The resource will also provide technical guidance to GTBS teammates and organizational stakeholders.

Work with business clients, project stakeholders, IT personnel and development staff in design, development and delivery of API proxiesPerforms complex analysis of system capabilities and is sought out for deep expertise. Provides deep technical and functional expertise and is a trusted expert.Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.Conduct major version software upgrades and fix pack updates.Responsible for maintaining and enhancing development of the best practices and standardsMonitor API performance, usage, and security to ensure the APIs are working as expected.Responsible for testing the APIs to ensure that they meet business requirements.Responsible for implementing CICD pipelines for Apigee proxies.Demonstrates expertise with Google Cloud Platform and other Cloud platforms like AWS.Demonstrates willingness to learn new products/technologies and is an effective team player.Lead sessions with consumers of services to define their requirements with respect to access, logical structure, and accessibilityDemonstrates hands on experience with one or more programing languages (Java/J2EE, Shell/Perl/ Python scripting)Qualifications
4-8 years of experience, preferredBachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferredThe Apigee API Software Developer plays a key technical role on the Enterprise API Solutions and Apigee Platform Team with a focus on building reusable API services and assisting application teams with technical challenges on the Apigee X platform.4+ years of experience in implementing API proxies through gateways.Knowledge and experience in developing Rest APIs/Restful Web services.Knowledge and experience in API Connect and/or APIGEE.Knowledge and experience in OAuth for AuthenticationKnowledge and experience in JWT token implementation for Authentication/Authorization will get more credits.Experience with Code, Configuration and Build management tools such as GIT, Concourse, Ansible, Jenkins, and Harness is preferred.Anticipated salary range: $94,900 - $135,600
