This role is hybrid and requires you to be at CGI office or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Design and implement automated test scripts for UI and API testing using tools like Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI, and GW GT Framework.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across insurance applications.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Validate data flow and business logic across Edge API Layer and digital portals.
• Troubleshoot and debug test failures, identify root causes, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Document test results, defects, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure test coverage and quality standards are met across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.
• 5+ years of experience in API & UI testing, with a focus on personal and commercial insurance applications.
• Proficiency in Guidewire software.
• Strong knowledge of API & UI testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI, GW GT Framework).
• Experience with test automation planning and testing Familiarity with various scripting languages like JavaScript, Python.
• Experience in Java/J2ee (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA)
• Experience with Edge API Layer and exposure to digital portal methodologies.
