The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and scripting languages. You will lead efforts to design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our APIs. **Job Responsibilities** + Lead API testing initiatives and ensure comprehensive test coverage. + Design and develop automated test scripts using Java, Python, or JavaScript. + Build and maintain robust testing frameworks using Cypress. + Validate RESTful API functionality, performance, and security. + Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. + Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. + Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. + Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in API testing. + Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies. + Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. **Required Skills** + Proven experience in API testing and automation. + Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and related technologies. + Hands-on experience with Cypress or similar automation tools. + Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for scripting. + Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps. + Experience working in Agile environments. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. **Life at Capgemini** + Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
