About the teamAPAC Demand Generation is a team of marketers and channel specialists that drive strategies to engage prospects and customers and generate demand for our prioritized solutions. We partner closely with global and regional campaigns, product marketing, field marketing, sales development, and sales teams to bring full-funnel campaigns to life, optimize performance, and drive business impact. Our team works across APAC markets, all customer segments, and at each stage of the customer lifecycle journey.
What you’ll doStripe serves SaaS Platforms from startups through to enterprises and defines SaaS Platforms as a B2B SaaS provider of software to businesses that also facilitates payments for their customers so they can collect payments from their end customers. You will sit at the center of the regional Platforms marketing hub, building Stripe’s Platforms marketing in collaboration with global and regional partners and stakeholders.You will facilitate bi-directional feedback, learnings, and best practices between regional and global teams and lead the pipeline performance for this segment, driving in-market activations and owning APAC campaigns and assets.
This role requires a highly collaborative individual who thinks both strategically and tactically to get things done. It is a business critical role and a great opportunity to build and have an impact across our GTM organization.
Responsibilities Develop and execute a multi-channel demand generation strategy to acquire SaaS platform companies across APAC - from startups to enterprises - in partnership with global and regional teams, facilitating bi-directional feedback, learnings, and best practices. Build a cross-GTM coalition including Global Marketing, Regional Sales, Sales Development, and Sales Operations to jointly grow the pipeline. Own key business and revenue metrics for Platforms across the full funnel while investigating business health issues such as conversion and lead quality. Work with local field marketers to align regional strategies and execution plans, communicating cross-region demand generation strategy and activities to the Head of APAC Platforms Sales. Land global campaigns in the focus APAC markets in conjunction with audience PMMs and global campaign leads to acquire and nurture leads at scale through digital content, paid placement, digital events, targeted nurture programs, etc. Be a Saas Platforms thought leader differentiating APAC leadership position as we grow across our campaigns and broader go-to-market at Stripe. Work with global and regional performance media experts to acquire and re-engage customers through a broad mix of paid media tactics. Partner with partner marketing to amplify the demand generation plan with the partner marketing channel in each region. Develop account-based marketing strategies for named account lists. Partner cross-functionally to define regional requirements as Stripe refines our marketing capabilities, MarTech stack, and lead management. Identify innovative new ways to reach and engage our users. Continually optimize for efficiency, scale for growth, and prioritize for focus. Minimum requirements 8+ years years of relevant experience running marketing programs in the SaaS industry. Have experience working in tech and marketing to SaaS organisations from digital natives to startups and marketplaces. Experience working closely with Sales teams, including joint planning and execution, driving disciplined lead follow-up, and earning trust as a strategic business partner. Proven track record of defining and executing end-to-end, multi-channel programmes with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders that deliver against funnel metrics and KPIs. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex topics with simplicity. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data. Deep understanding of paid media tactics, digital marketing strategies, marketing automation, email marketing tactics, account based marketing, and lead management. Strong ability to work cross functionally in a highly matrixed organization. Superb organization and project management skills and the capacity to manage multiple complex projects at once. A startup mentality with a bias to action and the ability to flex in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications B2B marketing experience owning a regional demand generation strategy across multiple countries, customer segments, and products. Experience in or exposure to the partner marketing function. Experience in the payments, financial technology, or adjacent industries, or marketing FinTech solutions or to FinTech companies. Experience at a highly dynamic, high-growth tech company or consulting firm.
