Description We are looking for an AP Staff Accountant to join our team in Orem, Utah on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting reconciliation activities. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely payments to vendors. • Perform thorough reconciliations of accounts to maintain financial integrity. • Utilize accounting software systems and tools, such as Concur and ERP platforms, to manage and streamline processes. • Review and code invoices while adhering to company policies and accounting standards. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial procedures. • Support accrual accounting activities and prepare necessary journal entries. • Conduct audits of financial records and transactions to ensure accuracy. • Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and related transactions. • Maintain organized documentation of accounts payable activities for reporting and audits. • Assist in optimizing accounts payable workflows for increased efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or related accounting functions. • Proficiency with accounting software systems such as Concur and ERP platforms. • Strong knowledge of account coding and accrual accounting principles. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes and auditing practices. • Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reconciliation purposes. • Ability to work onsite in Orem, Utah and collaborate effectively with team members. • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining financial accuracy. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
