We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Accounts Payable Intern** to join our finance team, supporting multiple EU entities. In this role you will assist the Accounts Payable Team, learn related processes and procedures, as well as the ERP systems used in Europe.

**This Internship is limited to 6 months.**
This job is based in **Cluj-Napoca, Romania** .
We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of **working hybrid** .
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Participating in all training sessions and shadowing activities.
+ Becoming familiar with routine accounts payable tasks, including gathering information, verifying accuracy, and processing vendor invoices (both PO and non-PO), travel and expense reports, and payments.
+ Learning to identify disputes related to invoices (e.g., quantity or pricing issues) and understanding the follow-up and resolution process.
+ Understanding the escalation process to higher management for exceptional cases requiring additional support.
+ Learning how to communicate effectively with vendors/suppliers and business units to resolve various queries.
+ Gaining knowledge of how to prepare and send account statements when needed, and how to resolve discrepancies.
+ Understanding payment requests and various payment methods.
+ Becoming familiar with handling returned or rejected payments.
+ Learning to analyze payment requests and monitor for potentially suspicious transactions.
+ Learning how to track, record, and store information related to transactions.
+ Becoming proficient in using ERP systems such as Oracle, iScala, and AS400.
**For This Role You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics.
+ Proven understanding or Interest in Finance or Accounts Payables.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
+ PC experience (Microsoft Office)
+ Fluent in English.
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Familiarity with MS Excel and ERP systems.
+ A collaborative approach and experience working with cross-functional, international teams.
+ Any other additional European languages are a bonus.
