Description About the Role: We are partnering with a reputable client to find a detail-oriented and reliable Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role requires experience with utility billing, strong working knowledge of PO and non-PO invoice processing, and a keen eye for resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate general ledger coding. Key Responsibilities: + Process full-cycle accounts payable, including high-volume PO and non-PO invoices. + Handle and reconcile utility invoices (electricity, gas, water, waste management), ensuring accuracy and timely payment. + Research and resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies. + Perform accurate GL coding for all utility bills and related expenses. + Reconcile vendor accounts and utility statements; investigate and resolve any variances. + Maintain compliance with internal controls and payment deadlines. + Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to streamline AP workflows Requirements Key Qualifications: + 3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience, including utility billing. + Solid understanding of purchase order workflows and invoice reconciliation. + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in expense coding and general ledger allocation. + Proactive, inquisitive mindset with a desire to identify process improvements.
