About the role:
As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will work with our accounting team to ensure our organization’s spendings are accurate and our accounting practices are standardized across the organization. You will be responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations as needed. You will play a key role in delivering the services and standardization, as well as improvements of the AP processes, supporting respective Team Leader of Accounts Payable Section. You will also be involved in liaising with suppliers and the supply chain department in order to maintain a business relationship and ensure smooth deliveries to the production department.
Your responsibilities
+ Verifying and posting individual financial transactions
+ Ensuring compliance with company policies and documented SOX procedures
+ Resolving discrepancies through collaboration with business partners and suppliers
+ Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities related to liabilities
+ Identifying areas for process improvement
+ Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and local business units
+ Participating in departmental projects
+ Regularly working with reports
+ Controlling the level of liabilities to service providers within the team.
+ Monitoring and resolving issues related to liabilities within the team.
What makes you a good fit for this role?
+ Secondary vocational or higher education (Accounting, Finance, Economics) or related field.
+ English proficiency (minimum B1 level).
+ At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
+ Practical knowledge of MS Excel
+ Understanding of accounting processes and the tools used within them
+ Ability to enter data and analyze financial documents
+ Ability to work under time pressure
+ Accuracy and attention to detail in task execution
+ Adaptability to changing deadlines and priorities driven by business needs
+ Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
