Working at Parker means belonging to a passionate, dynamic and innovative team, empowered to make a difference. ​​About the role: As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will work with our accounting team to ensure our organization’s spendings are accurate and our accounting practices are standardized across the organization. You will be responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations as needed. You will play a key role in delivering the services and standardization, as well as improvements of the AP processes, supporting respective Team Leader of Accounts Payable Section. You will also be involved in liaising with suppliers and the supply chain department in order to maintain a business relationship and ensure smooth deliveries to the production department. Your responsibilities + Verifying and posting individual financial transactions + Ensuring compliance with company policies and documented SOX procedures + Resolving discrepancies through collaboration with business partners and suppliers + Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities related to liabilities + Identifying areas for process improvement + Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and local business units + Participating in departmental projects + Regularly working with reports + Controlling the level of liabilities to service providers within the team. + Monitoring and resolving issues related to liabilities within the team.
