AP Accountant
Veralto
The **AP Accountant** is responsible for the financial, administrative, and clerical support in Esko. This role will be based in Brno and will help to fulfil the accounting tasks of different legal entities and different requests coming from Veralto or HQ.
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Act as the primary point of contact for business questions related to vendor master data
+ Complete requests (JIRA) for vendor master data in a timely, accurate manner by performing integrity checks to ensure a high quality of master data
+ Validate & process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records; clarify any questionable invoice items
+ Paying employees by verifying expense reports and ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes
+ Responding promptly to supplier/customer inquiries; communicating with supplier/customers through various channels
+ Prepare AP reconciliations, aging reports & analyses of accounts and Statement of Accounts
+ Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
+ Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk
+ Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
+ Proven ability to calculate, post andmanage accounting (https://resources.workable.com/accounting-clerk-job-description) figures and financial records
+ Proficiency in English and in MS Office
+ High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
