The AP Accountant is responsible for the financial, administrative, and clerical support in Esko. This role will be based in Brno and will help to fulfil the accounting tasks of different legal entities and different requests coming from Veralto or HQ.In this role, a typical day will look like:Act as the primary point of contact for business questions related to vendor master dataComplete requests (JIRA) for vendor master data in a timely, accurate manner by performing integrity checks to ensure a high quality of master dataValidate & process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records; clarify any questionable invoice itemsPaying employees by verifying expense reports and ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposesResponding promptly to supplier/customer inquiries; communicating with supplier/customers through various channelsPrepare AP reconciliations, aging reports & analyses of accounts and Statement of AccountsCollaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial dataThe essential requirements of the job include:BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business AdministrationProven working experience as Accounts Payable ClerkSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsProficiency in English and in MS OfficeHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detail
