Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Support the accounts payable process by preparing billing invoices and matching them with corresponding receivers and packing lists.
+ Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.
+ Address issues related to Returned to Vendor (RTV) transactions.
+ Perform accounts payable tasks and account reconciliations.
+ Track and retrieve missing financial or documentation records.
+ Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
+ Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
+ Assist with collections efforts and handle other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Deep understanding of and adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members across all management levels.
+ Creativity, flexibility, resourcefulness, and a keen eye for detail are essential traits for success.
+ Proven ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when dealing with confidential or sensitive information.
+ Self-starter with strong time-management skills to independently prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
+ Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while ensuring thorough follow-up and completion.
+ Proficiency in computer systems, including advanced capabilities in word processing and spreadsheets.
Requirements:
+ Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or possess 2+ years of relevant experience.
+ Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to confidentiality and thorough work processes.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, alongside excellent overall computer and data-entry skills.
+ Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
+ Exceptional critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
