**Description:**
With St. Mary's commitment to improving health outcomes, we are seeking a highly motivated Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist to join our team. This role serves as departmental and organizational resource in antimicrobial stewardship to our physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other practitioners. Duties include but not limited to monitoring antimicrobial therapy, participate in quality improvement initiatives in the hospital especially related to antibiotics, lead antimicrobial stewardship meetings, perform duties of a clinical pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care to patients, and develop and maintain working relationships with providers, nursing, and pharmacy.
**Position Requirements** :
**Licensure/Certification/Registration** : Must have completed all Georgia Licensure requirements and maintain a current Georgia Pharmacy License.
**Education:** A Bachelor or Science degree in pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
**Experience:** Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy required. Residency in Infectious Disease or previous antimicrobial work experience desired.
