Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking an Antenna/RF Systems Engineer based in Seoul, South Korea.

In this role, you will contribute to the development, testing and integration of RIS(Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface) System in future aircraft connectivity. Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop antennas and RF systems for aviation applicationsPerform electromagnetic simulations using tools such as CST and HFSSConduct RF testing and validation using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and compact antenna test ranges (CATR) in lab environmentsOptimize beamforming performance and antenna radiation patterns in frequency bands from UHF to mmWaveCollaborate on the integration of RF hardware (e.g., FPGA-based digital controllers) and perform system-level testingSupport Model-Based Development (MBD) and RF-related optimization tasksPrepare detailed design and verification documentation according to system requirements, and participate in design reviews

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications with at least 5 years of experience; or Master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience; or doctoral degree;Experience in antenna design, RF systems, or electromagnetic engineeringProficiency with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., CST Microwave Studio, HFSS)Hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment (e.g., VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators)Practical experience in PCB design and selection of RF materials Understanding of high-frequency circuit design and impedance matching principlesAbility to analyze S-parameters and antenna radiation patternsBasic knowledge of EMI/EMC design considerations and filtering techniquesExcellent technical documentation and presentation skillsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, scope, and methodologies, and contribute to project planning and execution.Applicants must have the enthusiasm to learn new technologies and improve their skillsetsProper English communication skill in verbal and written

Preferred Experience:

Experience in aerospace or aviation-related system projectsKnowledge or experience in aviation standards and airworthiness certification processes (DO-254, DO-178C) Experience or familiarity with RIS(Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface), metasurfaces, or phased array antennasUnderstanding of Model-Based Design methodologies (MATLAB, Simulink)Experience with reinforcement learning or AI-based beamforming optimizationParticipation in national or international R&D projects, especially industry-academia collaborationsKnowledge or experience with IEEE standards, ETSI standards, or other international standards

• RF 측정 장비(예: VNA, 스펙트럼 분석기, 신호 발생기) 사용 실무 경험

• PCB 설계 및 RF 재료 선정 실무 경험

• 고주파 회로 설계 및 임피던스 정합 원리 이해

• S-파라미터 및 안테나 방사 패턴 분석 능력

• EMI/EMC 설계 고려 사항 및 필터링 기법에 대한 기본 지식
