Objectives of the Position
-Lead and coordinate all CECC activities and play active role in application development and technical support in Consumer Electronics in Asia Pacific, with special focus on supporting customers outside South Korea, i.e. China, Japan, ASEAN and South Asia.  

-Closely work with Regional CE&TD segment lead in EP and TPU to achieve technical targets to promote business in Consumer Electronics & related segments where CECC has unique testing and development capabilities.  

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Coordinator for CECC and Technical Development (TD) for Consumer Electronics Segment 
- Support the CE team to coordinate all application development activities in CECC. 
- Support to build a strong competence center by closely observing market needs and help to strengthen internal capabilities to support consumer electronics business. 
- Follow prioritization and implement customer AD projects as aligned with regional Marketing segment leads. Closely work with relevant stakeholders and organise meetings to update progress of development projects
- Occasionally visit relevant customers in Asia Pacific to better understand their needs and explain/show development results.
- Elaborate and support development of CE Segment strategies in close collaboration with RBU segment leads. 
- Scout for new opportunities in CE in close coordination with Korea, Japan, ASEAN and China sales & TD teams
- Proactively identify technical needs to develop CECC capabilities in order to meet  requirements for accounts such as Samsung, LG, Sony, Apple, Vivo, Lenovo, Xiaomi 
- Collaborate with PD/TD/TS to develop new innovative products. Closely follow up with R&D processing team in trial runs and sampling for testing and customer evaluation.
- Track new product launch and publish success stories as soon as it is commercialised.
- Review and update topics/proposals/AD activities as part of CE Competency Center activities by Coordinate closely with segment leads and TDs/TS to identify and validate the technical needs.
- Prepare technical test results about each test and report to regional CE marketing & TD leads
- Operations & Maintenance of facilities, apparatus & utilities in the laboratory as well as ensuring compliance with EHS regulations
- Timely submission of Capex requirements for any new AD equipment needs. 
- Support to build the best team in CE technical development 
- Ensure the use of digital tools in order to drive efficiency and speed of operation & development

Application Development & Technical Support (AD/TS)

- Close coordination with all stakeholder to quickly resolve issues with regard to customer trials and trouble shooting. 
- Leverage the capabilities and expertise available in CECC lab/ QC and R&D by closely working with them and provide quick solution to customers.
- Propose technical solutions to solve customers’ issues and demonstrate technical competencies to attain customers’ recognition and credibility on the company to build win-win technical relationship and partnership with key customers.

- Support for customers to fulfill color requests and material finishing needs by collaborating with Colour experts from R&D. 
- Identify/follow-up on relevant processing technologies
- Coach and drive other TS team in required customer / processing related req.

- Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practices and share with the sales/marketing personnel

Education:
- Bachelor Degree or above in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering

Working Experience:
- Min 5-10 Years Experience preferably with experience in TPU&EP processing, products & Application. 

Technical & Professional Knowledge:
- Expert knowledge in polymer materials, product development, application development, processing technology

- In depth technical understanding on polymer based materials
