This is a per diem position. Hourly pay is $225 per hour/shift, depending on the type and timing of shifts worked. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity.

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Anesthesiologist to join our team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. This flexible opportunity is ideal for anesthesiologists who are looking to contribute to high-quality patient care on an as-needed basis, within a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

Position Highlights:

Per Diem status – flexible scheduling based on department needs and candidate availabilityCollaborative team of 16 Anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAsCase variety includes bread-and-butter anesthesia, healthy pediatrics, obstetrics, no cardiac or neurosurgical casesSupervision: Typically supervise 2–3 CRNAs per shiftSupportive work environmentChronic pain management practice available if desired (not required)

Who You Are:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of AnesthesiologyCompletion of a four-year Anesthesiology residencyHolds or is eligible for a New Hampshire medical licenseStrong skills in regional and obstetrical anesthesia are preferredReliable and adaptable, with the ability to integrate into a high-functioning team on a per diem basis
