The epoc© Blood Analysis System is healthcare’s first cost-effective POC testing solution to leverage Smartcard Technology and wireless communication to provide caregivers worldwide with real-time, lab-quality blood gas, electrolyte, and metabolite results at the patient bedside. Your role:

Design, develop, implement and maintain Android Java applicationWrite clean, efficient, secure and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standardsParticipate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and improve overall code qualityDocument technical designsUse applicable technologies that include: Java, React, Android Studio/Visual Studio/Eclipse, SVN/Git, SQLite, Unit testing

Your expertise:

Experience with Android application development in JavaSoftware engineering skills with strong knowledge of design and development of data interfacesExperience in basic Android UI layouts, XML and activity lifecycleTroubleshooting of released application and loggingDependency injection in DaggerExperience with multi-threading in Android and memory managementSolid understanding of software design patterns and clean code principlesStrong communication in English and collaboration skillsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamExperience with Bluetooth stack is a strong plusExperience with regulated environment (ISO, FDA) would be a big advantage but not mandatory
