Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers. *Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)* **Location: Charlote, NC or Atlanta, GA (Onsite)** **Roles & Responsibilities:** **Expert-level knowledge of:** + Kotlin, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flows + MVVM architectural pattern and Clean Architecture + WorkManager, Navigation Component, Hilt (DI), Room, and Retrofit + Strong understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and design patterns. + Strong experience with unit testing using Mockito, Junit, keeping above 80% code coverage + Deep understanding of Android Jetpack components and the Android lifecycle. + Proficient in writing testable, clean, and maintainable code. **Qualifications:** + 5 to 7+ years of Software Development experience with architecting, designing, and developing Android applications (Kotlin, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flows MVVM architecture) + WorkManager, Navigation Component, Hilt (DI), Room, and Retrofit + Mockito, Junit Unit testing + Solid knowledge of Git and experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines + Deep understanding of Android Jetpack components and the Android lifecycle. + Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing local data persistence. **Applications will be accepted until 7/27/2025** **Salary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between $81,337K – $114,000K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
