Position Summary

Reporting to the Value Center CIO, the Industrial Process Value Center has created a new position for a Data Strategy Manager  to serve as a forward-thinking, strategic leader who sets and the analytics strategy for a $1B+ multi-national business unit. A successful person in this role will have previous successful experiences, enabling an advanced data analytics & AI strategy, to transform and modernize operations, engineering, sales, finance and other business functions of IP Value Centre, and to improve efficiency, creating scalability, and enhancing the experience for customers and employees. This leader will generate value and innovation by providing insightful data which will allow the organization to become a true “Data-Driven Organization.” 


This position will partner with the Corporate Enterprise Analytics & AI Team to assist in the deployment of Data Governance architecture, strategies, and frameworks to support the company's goals. Additionally, this person will enable insights for various stakeholders leveraging diverse data sources , including compliance with Information Security Policies, making sure data is easily available and consumable by business functions.  Most importantly, this leader will enable a single source of truth that shares common information across the IP value center and other. 


This role is responsible for supporting the business in day to day operations, as well as envisioning, recommending, and facilitating business changes to automate, streamline and ensure a highly available service offering for our internal and external customers.  You will be providing expert oversight, ensuring successful delivery and performance of Data services for the organization. Essential Responsibilities

• Define and drive data transformation to support the company’s vision and strategic priorities.
• Identify various processes, tools, reports, etc. to consolidate all reports, dashboard and analytics applications – rationalize and harmonize all sources for simplified use and visualization via PowerBI.
• Partner with the business to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities and provide best-in-class solutions that create value and competitive advantage; define scope, requirements and functional design to meet business needs.  As part of these functional design, use existing tools and data dictionaries to facilitate streamlining of business key business measures.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define data-driven strategies and initiatives that will contribute to the company's growth and success.
• Assess and prioritize all related efforts to make best use of resources that maximize value delivered to the business. 
• Work with Corporate Enterprise Analytics & AI Team to enable the transformation of enterprise data platforms to enable AI, data science, analytics, optimization, and system integration.
• Identifyopportunities for AI / LLMs to enhance IT capabilities and drive innovation while evaluating emerging technologies and trends.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact and value of AI and data transformation initiatives.
• Work as the subject matter expert in data strategy to engage with internal stakeholders to understand their specific needs and opportunities for data-driven services. 
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, to deliver data-driven insights.
• Empower your team to drive their projects from inception to completion with a high bar for standard.

Position Requirements

Qualification

• 8+ years of experience in IT and related field 
• 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics / Data Engineeringor a similar role.
• 3+ years of experience leading data teams 
• Bachelor’s in STEMis must.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI will be preferred)
• Experience in AI/ML techniques, tools, and frameworks, will be highly appreciated
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically.
• Ability to be challenged with ambiguous situations; dissect and plan the work that simplifies the work for themselves and others, with a focus on delivering results. 
• Passion for data and innovation.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Stack or similar
• Solid technical background
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects to completion while maintaining quality standards and project deadlines.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills, including the ability to gather requirements from, and engage with, non-technical Executives and their teams to design effective, efficient solutions.
• Strong influencing skills leading technology discussions at the senior leadership level.
• Ability to collaborate and manage relationships with other business units, external vendors, and stakeholders.
