Analytics Solutions [Multiple Positions Available]

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Responsible for end-to-end preparation of intelligent solutions by development of dashboards. Support analysis delivered to senior management and various stakeholders for the line of business. Develop and enhance Alteryx workflows, collecting data from disparate data sources and summarizing the data as defined in requirements gathering with the stakeholders. Follow best practices to ensure that data is sourced from authoritative data sources. Develop and enhance data visualizations to provide intuitive insights and help with decision support to our key stakeholders. Conduct thorough validation of each component of the intelligence solution providing evidence that all data and visualizations are reporting accurate insights and evidence in the control process. Engage in testing and meetings for related server upgrades, data source changes, and other technology components from which data is sourced. Lead onboarding, knowledge transfer, mentorship and coaching efforts to help new team members integrate effectively and develop key skills for long-term success. Review and evaluate solutions developed by others to provide secondary feedback and ensure compliance with best practices and the solutions meet quality standards for production deployment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Management, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions, Data Visualization, Business Intelligence Analyst, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: coordinating a financial data reporting and analytics delivery cycle with stakeholders; representing the business in requirements gathering; translating business requirements through the analysis of technical requirements to identify required data elements and disparate datasets relationships; tracking and monitoring projects with JIRA; delivering complex dashboards including the use of parameters, level of detail calculations, and presentations before deadlines using Tableau; identifying risks and issues to enable effective defensive design in the business intelligence data process and recommending corrective actions where necessary; creating complex SQL queries, including complex joins, partition by logic, logic- based formulas; making direct data connections to centralized Teradata, Snowflake, Data Bricks, or Oracle data repositories using Alteryx or Tableau Prep; handling proactive communication of status about incidents to business and technical users per defined processes to ensure consistent clarity of risk items as they relate to deadlines; running functional and technical feasibility analyses to ensure data visualizations are performant in alignment with business requirements.

Full-Time. Salary:  $135,000 - $165,000 per year.
