The Analytics Lead is a critical role responsible for transforming business requirements into actionable insights through data analysis, visualization, and reporting. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to support decision-making and drive organizational improvements. Responsible for preparation of analytics requirements and technical design working with Business Analysts to create Analytical Data Models that predict and prescribe scenarios to facilitate business decisions.
**Key Accountabilities:**
+ Own the design and development of compelling, user-friendly dashboards and visualizations from requirements received to user acceptance. Deliver tools that identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Effectively communicate these insights to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
+ Participating as needed in business analyst driven business requirement sessions, ensure the requirements capture the insights and questions the business leaders are looking for. Break down the requirements for your build team to deliver clear, actionable reporting solutions.
+ Leveraging existing enterprise data, filter and “clean” data, for report usage as per best practices.
+ Collaborating with our Data Preparation Team, provide feedback as you identify trends, patterns, and anomalies on complex datasets that can improve the insights we are able to deliver.
+ Evaluate existing data processes and reports for performance indicators, recommend optimizations and improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Work with teammates to recommend new methodologies and technology to improve team capabilities.
+ Maintain effective communication with your supervisor regarding deliverable status and constraints.
+ Work with end users to validate report accuracy. Promote data literacy across the organization by educating stakeholders on interpreting and leveraging data effectively to improve report adoption.
**Required Skills:**
+ Experience in complete life cycle of design, development, and implementation of Data Analytics projects.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
+ Understanding of data warehouse design methodologies, relational database architecture and best practices (star schema, data normalization, etc)
+ Expert skills with querying data, report writing, problem solving, and presenting findings
+ Advanced expertise in reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
+ Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL, Excel, intermediate python and other data manipulation tools.
+ 5+ years of experience working with business teams to align reporting solutions with organizational goals.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings effectively.
+ Ability to identify issues within data, or report processes and propose actionable solutions.
+ High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and report creation.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 5 years of experience in Data Analytics Projects
+ Bachelor’s degree in information systems or general business or relevant experience
+ Expert in system analysis, technical design, development and implementation
+ Thorough knowledge of data warehouse design methodologies and best practices
+ Experience with Dimensional Data modeling tools
+ Self starter and ability to work independently
+ Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, or Snowflake.
+ Certifications in reporting tools or data analysis (e.g., Tableau Certified Professional, Microsoft Power BI Certification).
