The Analytics Engineer 2 provides clean data sets and models data in a way that enables for analysis to be carried out to drive key business insights. The Analytics Engineer 2 provide business users with answers to their questions by creating data based analysis as required. The Analytics Engineer 2 has a general understanding of the data infrastructure and tooling and can leverage this for monitoring and maintaining data pipelines and developing data transformations to generate fresh reliable data assets.

 

What you will be doing Collaborate with team members to collect business requirements, define successful analytics outcomes, and design data models, while considering non-functional requirements such as performance constraints, cost constraints, and security policies.Model, design, develop, test, and implement appropriate backend and front-end structures needed to meet business visualization and reporting requirements.Implement and refine dbt models that extract, transform, and load features for Reporting and ML experiments, ensuring each pipeline is documented and follows CI/CD practices in the team’s GitHub repository with automated tests and version controlCurate structured datasets by scheduling regular refreshes, verifying record completeness, and updating metadata. Track dataset health metrics and escalate inconsistencies to senior engineers to maintain reliable inputs for modeling and analysis.Help develop and integrate data‑quality handling guidelines into pipelines and CI/CD workflows. Operate anomaly‑detection dashboards, escalate issues, and collaborate on remediation patterns—system fixes, record exclusions, and null‑handling strategies.Build, train, and evaluate proof-of-concept models using Python libraries (scikitlearn, TensorFlow). Perform feature selection, hyperparameter tuning, and metric analysis under mentorship, and collaborate on refining prototypes for integration.Coordinate with the data engineers, data analyst, and data governance analysts to align with change management processes and to ensure performance, processes, and access is optimal for global reporting solutions.Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy

 

What will make you successful Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experienceProficient in English.
