The Analytical Development Co-Op for Cytiva Nanomedicine is responsible for supporting projects to advance the development of LC-MS based methods for the characterization of RNA Critical Quality Attributes. You will also assist in various Analytical activities required to support both internal and external programs, being involved, but not limited to, the analysis of RNA, peptides/proteins, and lipids using Liquid Chromatography- Mass Spectrometry (LC- MS).

This position is part of the Biopharma Services team located in Vancouver, BC and will be onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you'll do:

Refer to available literature to prepare study plans and participate in experimental design, problem-solving and technical discussions.Use analytical routine techniques to characterize nanoparticle formulations.Prepare Reports and technical presentations.Assist with daily tasks in the lab such as maintenance, buffer preparation, ordering, etc.

Who you are:

A student studying Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical or Biological Engineering with a background of hands-on experience in the laboratory.General knowledge of analytical or bioassay techniques.Experience with standard analytical and/or molecular biology techniques such as chromatography, gel electrophoresis, etc., is an asset.Resourceful, flexible, detail-oriented, organized and with excellent communication skills.Able to work both as a team and independently with minimum supervision.

The annual salary range for this role is $40,000-50,000 CAD/year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
