As the Global Configuration Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and configuring the Workday system to support both break/fix and enhancement needs of the business for Compensation (Core and Advanced) globally.
What You Will Do
Lead the exploration, evaluation, recommendation, design, and configuration of new features and functionalities within WorkdayConfigure, test, validate, and implement changes in WorkdayAssist in testing of integrations, security, and annual eventsMaintain master data values in Workday for Compensation (Core and Advanced)Act as the key Subject Matter Expert (SME) to determine the right technology solutions to meet strategic business initiativesServe as an SME and work directly with functional owners and review information to ensure data integrity; edit input documents for accuracy and monitor output for system issuesYou will not have any direct reports but will work with a global team of approximately 18 membersWhat You Need to Be Successful
5+ years of experience with Workday Human Capital Management or other HR systems, preferably across multiple areasA strong understanding of Workday Core and Advanced CompensationWillingness to obtain and maintain Workday certification in the specified SKU, if not already certifiedAbility to work in a global, matrixed organization and communicate at all levelsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and other functions necessary to conduct ad-hoc data auditsBonus Points if You Have
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with a preferred concentration in Business, Technology Services, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related disciplineWorkday certificationsCompensation and/or payroll certificationsWorking knowledge of all Workday modules, including areas not specific to this role (e.g., Core HCM, Talent Management, Absence, Time Tracking, etc.)What Makes You Eligible
