Position Title: Lead Analyst/Analyst for Global Fixed Assets & Lease COE.Function: Finance     Reporting to: Manager

Process: Global Fixed Assets & Lease COE

Job Scope includes:Frequent communication with stakeholders, analyze and prepare monthly reports, application of deep accounting knowledge on Fixed assets management (Creation, retirements, sales, transfers, accelerated depreciation) and work with corporate team, local finance & controllers frequently as required.

Job Description:

Review process controls, monitor compliance standards and help Manager to define the process controlsConnect with stakeholders – Drive trainings, discussions & policy proposalsAct as process SME, if assigned with responsibility.Provide fixed asset accounting guidance by referencing the accounting policy to Global audiences.Review period closing, reporting, successful data load into GCAP & other reporting tools. Flux analysis is successful for depreciation & lease expenses.10 K & 10 Q disclosure requirements, forecast Intangibles amortization.Depreciation areas – Local GAAP, Tax & US GAAP and special adjustment handling per statutory law compliances.IFRS, GAAP differences & accounting standard guidelines.Review SOX compliance, Internal controls & handle, support audit queries (external & internal) from PI perspective.Blackline reconciliations review of PI with relevant substantiations & make sure no un-reconciled transactions exist for reporting.Handle escalations & ad-hoc requests & manage committed TAT.Readiness to pick up project assignments per requirement with timely actions & high quality.

Mandatory: Skill Sets/Experience:

M.com / MBA / ICWA inter/ CA / CA inter with 5+ years full time experience of Fixed Asset accountingCMA (or) CA with 3 years of full-time accounting experienceSAP (FI) asset accounting experience & end user accounting knowledge.Should have working experience on Ms. Excel & Power pointExcellent Verbal & Written Communication SkillsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsAccounting flow & trouble shoot experience in Asset accounting & R2R domain.Well versed with conference calls & timely e-mail action up.
