Rabobank Financial Economic Crime is seeking an Analyst - Screening to be based in Sydney. In this role you will play a pivotal role in Rabobank’s efforts to safeguard the bank from financial crime & sanction risks through end-to-end management of name screening alerts & other ad-hoc tasks as required. This typically involves screening for Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), Adverse Media & Sanctions, ensuring alerts are triaged, assessed & resolved in a timely & accurate manner.
Key Role Accountabilities:
Complete end-to-end Customer Screening & Business Partner of Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), Adverse Media & Sanctions alertsSupport control & process remediation & BAU activities, & provide support on escalated matters & incident investigations as requiredIdentify, assess & address any financial crime related risksSupport the development & design of new name screening rules based on risk indicators from typologies provided by the Intelligence functionTest new rules with the assistance of Analytics to determine the applicability & effectiveness through proven methodologiesReview name screening rules on a regular basis to ensure that they are functioning correctly (calibration)Identify & execute potential improvements to rules upon review or when issues are escalated from the Investigations teamTo be successful, you will have:
Ideally 1 years experience in a KYC / financial crime environmentA working knowledge of the requirements under the AML/CTF ActA good understanding of PEP & AM screening requirementsThe ability to draft policies, procedures, & management reportsGood written & verbal communication skills The ability to prioritise tasks & meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentThe ability to work on confidential & sensitive matters with a high degree of discretionOur Values
