Analyst Production Planner
The Production Planner is responsible for translating dynamic customer demand and engineering data into a capacity-balanced Master Production Schedule that guarantees on-time delivery of Dematic’s engineer-to-order automation systems. Operating within SAP/ERP, the role synchronizes material availability, shop-floor sequencing, and supplier performance to optimize inventory, maximize resource utilization, and protect revenue commitments. Success demands rigorous data integrity, proactive risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Project Management. By monitoring key performance indicators and leading continuous-improvement initiatives, the Production Planner ensures an efficient, compliant, and safety-focused manufacturing flow that supports Dematic’s reputation for operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What we offer:

The Production Planner will own short- and mid-range scheduling for Dematic’s engineer-to-order (ETO) automation projects. The production planner’s mission is to convert dynamic customer demand and engineering releases into a balanced production plan that meets promised ship dates, optimizes inventory, and maximizes capacity utilization. Success hinges on tight cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Project Management to keep materials flowing, risks visible, and teams aligned.

Key Responsibilities

Master Production Schedule (MPS) OwnershipBuild and maintain the weekly MPS in SAP/ERP, translating forecasts, firm orders, and change notices into time-phased work orders.Adjust schedules proactively to protect on-time delivery and revenue targets.Capacity & Material BalancingAnalyze work-center loads, material lead times, and supplier capacity; release or re-sequence orders to prevent bottlenecks and shortages.Drive recovery plans for any critical path risks.Shop-Floor Sequencing & CoordinationIssue daily priorities; lead SQDC (Safety–Quality–Delivery–Cost) huddles to resolve constraints.Expedite urgent parts and escalate blockers to the right level fast.Data Integrity & Parameter ManagementKeep BOMs, routings, and planning parameters (lot size, safety stock, lead time offsets) accurate to ensure reliable MRP signals.Champion disciplined change-control processes with Engineering.KPI Tracking & Continuous ImprovementMonitor schedule adherence, WIP aging, inventory turns, and excess/obsolete stock.Lead or support kaizen events to reduce lead time and inventory while boosting throughput.Stakeholder CommunicationProvide clear status and risk escalations to Project Managers, Customer Service, and senior leadership.Feed supply-demand insights into S&OP, quarterly capacity reviews, and annual budget planning.

Tasks and Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similarAdvanced English.Microsoft Office – SAP, ORACLE or other ERP2 or 3 year production schedulingMicrosoft Office English 80%SAP (Optional - Preffered)
