How will you make an impact in this role?

The Operational Risk Management (ORM) team facilitates and monitors the implementation of effective operational risk management programs across the enterprise. Within ORM, the Issues & Events Program Team defines, maintains, and evolves the framework and governance for identifying, escalating, remediating, and reporting operational risk issues and events. Our team is a second line of defense (2LoD) function responsible for ensuring risk management activities are effectively executed across all business units and support functions.

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to support the execution of our enterprise-wide Issues & Events programs. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise risk systems, data governance, regulatory expectations, and cross-functional collaboration. You will help enable a culture of risk transparency and accountability through robust analysis, process execution, and system enhancements.

The Analyst will work closely with business units, product teams, technology groups, and other risk partners to ensure consistent implementation of risk event and issue management standards, provide analytical insights, and contribute to ongoing program improvements.

Assist in the documentation and delivery of system enhancements for Operational Risk Event (ORE) platforms such as Archer and ServiceNow. Develop fluency in the ORE program’s framework, policies, and tooling to serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for business users, technology teams, and ORM stakeholders. Provide guidance and clarification on ORE requirements and system functionality. Support requirements gathering, data mapping, workflow configurations, and user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed. Track and log data issues, support automation initiatives, and help maintain data integrity across the ORE lifecycle, as needed. Help develop process documentation and training materials for first-line and risk partner teams. Collaborate across Operational Risk, Product, Technology, and Business Transformation teams to ensure consistent implementation of risk event standards. Prepare reporting and metrics related to operational losses, trends, and data quality; assist in creation of executive-ready materials. Stay informed on regulatory and enterprise guidance related to operational risk and risk data governance.

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years in a financial risk management function (e.g., audit, compliance, operations, credit, etc.). Understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical aptitude—comfort with data analysis, Excel, presentation materials. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to translate technical requirements. Comfortable working in cross-functional, agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting risk exam management processes preferred. Familiarity with operational loss event frameworks, KRIs, and risk taxonomies preferred. Basic SQL, scripting, or data visualization tool experience preferred.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
