This position follows a hybrid work schedule. Employees are required to be in the office four (4) days per week, one (1) remote.
Primary Responsibilities
Serve as Lead Cost Analyst for capital programs and projects. Collaborate with project/program managers and track leads to build and maintain project forecasts Perform budget and forecast variance analysis Serve as a process facilitator for the project funding process (Authorization for Expenditure) Create purchase requisitions and monitor the purchase order life cycle. Submit project accruals monthly Facilitate and manage data inputs and changes across multiple organizations. Communicate with all levels of the organization and support multiple projects. 4-year BS Degree in Engineering or Business. OR 2-year AS Degree with 5 years of related field experience. Minimum 3-7 years of project cost analysis or project management experience. In Office 4 days a weekPreferences
Experience in the energy sector, especially natural gas/pipelines, natural gas storage, or process plant development. Knowledge of cost, estimating, and scheduling concepts, techniques, and methods. Knowledge of earned value management.Skills and Competencies
Maximo Experience Familiarity with budgeting, project management, and accounting software (e.g., Oracle ERP, PowerPlan, SOAR, Unifier, Primavera P6, SharePoint). Data facilitation across multiple organizations. Strategic thinking and decision-making. Communication across all organizational levels. Ability to motivate a group toward a shared goal. Exceptional attention to detail and self-verification of work. Motivated self-starter with the ability to work individually and in a group setting. Safety principles. Understanding of company/organization. Teamwork, attitude, and dependability. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
