Job DescriptionSummary
The purpose of this role is to support the trading office legal group, by performing grant award and analysis, and administration activities related to next generation fuels infrastructure projects and performing due diligence for government bid application submissions.
Essential Functions
Coordinate between internal and external resources to successfully submit government fuel bids and deliver on the business plan for winning grant awards for alternative fuelsExecute and review bid proposals for Alternative Fuel projectsReview and analyze government bid documents and conduct due diligence to identify and ensure Pilot can comply with bid requirementsDraft due diligence reports for government bids, engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with the terms of various government bids/awarded contractsPerform editing and support writing revisions to draft grant proposals and collect supporting documents based on grantor funding requirementsEngage internal stakeholders (Business Development, Legal, Communications, Operations, Construction, Accounting, Real Estate, Data Governance, etc.) and externally with consultants, utilities, and other vendors, to conduct work assignedUpdate and transfer data, track deliverables, and interpret Pilot grants database to successfully generate reportsMaintain records of all bids submitted and prepare monthly records for all grant-related activitiesFacilitate meetings, create agendas, and follow up with action items for all internal and external stakeholdersAssist with tracking and submitting any required grant deliverables and government bids (pre and post award). Identify and immediately raise any compliance concernsModel behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest levelEnsure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresComplete other duties as assignedQualificationsDegree in Business, Law, Communications, or related field required, Masters or JD preferredMinimum 2-4 years’ work experience in project management, contract, and/or grant administrationCombinations of specific industry work experience, advanced degrees, or certifications, strongly preferredSpecialized Knowledge
Minimum 3-5 years of industry work experience with transportation, energy, utilities, or construction infrastructure projects highly preferredUnderstanding of contract terminology and potential contractual riskDemonstrated knowledge of federal, state, municipal and/or utility and energy policies and procedural guidance to include Title 23 NEPA Compliance, FAR, 2 CFR 200, Circulars, Title 6-Civil Rights, ADA, EEO, Davis Bacon, Labor Laws, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, Joint Ventures, SAM.gov, state registration requirementsProject management skills strongly preferredExperience using Smartsheet, Jira, Salesforce preferredCompetencies
