Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate **The Role:** This role (Finance Analyst - GM Energy) is primarily in charge of short-term and long-term financial analysis while collaborating with business partners across GM Energy Operations and Finance. **What You'll Do** + Execute on planning, advising, analyzing, and presenting the GM Energy Forecast, Budget and Long-Term Plan financials + Assist in the creation of Monthly Operating Review (MOR) materials + Develop and present insights and well thought out recommendations to leaders + Develop and utilize financial modeling techniques to evaluate risks and opportunities + Solve problems and develop new methods of analysis to streamline decision making + Seek out and correct inconsistent data; find and fix root cause of inconsistencies, understand the drivers + Collaborate and coordinate information flow with other staffs and business units for optimal corporate decisions + Learn and partner with the specific business that would be supported + Present to GM Senior Management and communicate key issues for action/decision + Provide accurate, timely, and reliable reporting and controls **Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)** + 3+ years of Financial experience and/or degree + Knowledge of corporate finance principles including ability to perform income statement analysis + Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills + Strong modeling and financial valuation skills + Familiarity with accounting principles **Additional Job Description** **What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)** + Experience in the Electric Vehicle or Energy industries + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Experience working on long-term planning + Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision + Proactively work to resolve issues and move project tasks forward + Ability to relate project with business objectives and results, integrate with business purpose + Teamwork/Leadership Skills – ability to work with people within and outside group **GM DOES NOT PROVIDE IMMIGRATION-RELATED SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE.
