Job Description
The Analyst – Executive Compensation, within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG), will support all aspects relating to Executive Compensation as well as ad hoc projects. This role will partner with key stakeholders across teams and geographies to deliver on various deliverables across the spectrum of Executive Compensation. They will coordinate our work with the American Express Board’s Compensation and Benefits Committee, American Express National Bank Board, and all other aspects of corporate governance.
Reporting to the Director – Executive Compensation, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently, manage confidential information, contribute to high-priority initiatives, and maintain a professional demeanor. Adaptability, attention to detail, and a positive outlook will define success in this role and within our dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide key support for all compensation-related activities involving senior executives, including all year-end deliverables Assist with preparation of Company’s annual Proxy Statement and other regulatory filings Assist with preparation and coordination of materials for Compensation Committee and Bank Committee meetings Assist in the quarterly LTIA plan delegation process and its administration Coordinate with key stakeholders across American Express on accounting and regulatory matters Maintain a database and inventory of documents and checklists for retention purposes Maintain awareness of practices among competitors and of regulatory and business trends in the world of executive compensationPreferred Qualifications:
1-3+ years of Compensation experience, preferably within a multinational organization Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and independently in a fast paced-environment and manage multiple time sensitive priorities Comfort working with numbers and dealing with confidential information Self-starter and fast learner Attention to detail and ability to interact/ communicate effectively with all levels of colleagues Experience with process management and process improvement Proficient in MS Applications: MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
