Analyst - Data Governance & Management

As part of the Financial Data Governance (FDG) within Corporate Controllership, this role is responsible for overall data governance and management related compliance with various policies for Finance. Finance Data Governance (FDG) team is leading the effort of defining the future roadmap for data governance within Finance.

As a FDG analyst, you will be part of a growing team of data management professionals focused on providing world-class data management and data governance solutions. You will partner closely with Finance Technology Transformation, Enterprise Data Governance, Controllership, Risk, and other teams to drive data governance and data quality within Finance.

The FDG analyst is a collaborator, a well-organized, action-oriented team player with strong time management skills, confident in presenting, facilitating, and building a network of strong relationships across our organization.

Responsibilities:

Implement data management requirements as per the Enterprise Data Policies within various critical Finance systems/processes. Support implementation of PRSA / RCSA controls and ensure effective controls exists on the data management processes. Support various audits, reviews, or examinations performed on Finance Data Governance processes and remediation of findings or gaps identified in the data governance and management processes. Support implementation of various projects impacting data management and/or process improvement initiatives to make Finance Data Governance more effective and efficient. Making sure appropriate documentation exists for data governance and management processes. Prepare presentation for senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications: 

2-3 years of work experience in Banking/Financial Services. Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Prior experience with implementation of data governance and data quality programs is preferred. Experience in regulatory reporting specially FRY-9C, FR2052a, FRY-14.  Understanding of process and data controls, gap identification, and their remediation. Working knowledge of Agile methodology and delivery concepts or other project management methodologies Strong relationship management and excellent written and verbal communications including experience in making PowerPoint presentations. Self-motivated and proactive, ability to manage multiple assignments and projects concurrently. Strong excel and other technical skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collect business requirements and use them to guide implementation of a technical solution.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
