How will you make an impact in this role?

Compliance Risk Management Program (CRMP) within Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) facilitates and monitors the implementation of effective compliance risk management programs throughout the organization, and oversees risk ownership throughout business units, products, and processes. The objective of CRMP is to develop, oversee and strengthen the organization’s Compliance Risk Management framework to ensure that governance structures, policies, and procedures are robust, effective, and align with regulatory requirements and best practices.

As an analyst of the Compliance Effective Challenge Management Program, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the firm's compliance risk governance initiatives. This role is responsible for helping manage the day-to-day oversight, communications and processes of the program.   The ideal candidate will possess strong risk management skills, project management with Compliance focused expertise and process management knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Support the oversight of compliance risks across business lines, ensuring that potential or emerging risks are appropriately escalated and addressed in the appropriate risk management program. Collaborate with Compliance Officers and other risk management groups to document the potential or emerging risks being raised through the various programs. The Analyst will be responsible to analyze, challenge, organize the documentation. Collaborate with various risk teams to ensure governance practices align with enterprise risk management frameworks. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance governance processes and improve risk management practices. Monitor progress against program deadlines; managing several tasks simultaneously. Update program resource materials including procedures, desktop procedures, and program internal websites. Assist with creating reports and dashboards for committee reporting, effective challenge and trends for leadership review and discussion. Provide support for strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects, including responses to stakeholders, audit and regulator requests.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management, issue management, or regulatory affairs with a primary focus on regulatory compliance within a financial institution. Willingness to think outside the box, ask questions and raise concerns. Understanding of risk management principles, frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including consumer protection (UDAAP, ECOA, FCRA, EFTA, TILA, etc.) and compliance management systems preferred. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence diverse levels of stakeholders. Expertise in process governance, with a track record of establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and / or risk management standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends and evaluate risk scenarios effectively. Excellent writing skills and ability to synthesize key messages for diverse audiences.  Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Strong skills with Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint. Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, business, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) are a plus

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
