Key Responsibilities:

The Analyst – Cargo Logistics Strategy plays a pivotal role in aligning the Cargo Division’s strategic goals by fostering collaboration with stakeholders at every level, from Senior Management to Front Line Leaders, across key functional areas including Sales, Operations, Revenue Management, Finance, and Contact Centers. The role is crucial in supporting the division’s strategy through the strategic use of data. Specifically, the job involves managing Road Feeder Services (RFS) & Unit Load Devices (ULD) strategy. The individual in this role must adeptly analyze data to guide decision-making, identify cost-saving measures, and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure strict budget adherence.

ULD Oversight and Optimization

Strategic forecasting/planning models and strategies to support achievement of optimization of ULD assetsDevelop, maintain and continuously improve analytical insights and solutions to ensure ULD Compliance for Global Operations teamPartner with Operations, Revenue Management, Sales and Cargo Logistics teammates to drive incremental business

RFS Oversight and Optimization 

Strategic forecasting/planning models and strategies to support achievement of optimization of RFS trucking network Develop, maintain and continuously improve analytical insights and solutions to drive RFS operational performance improvements and cost mitigationPartner with trucking carriers to achieve incremental performance improvements through leveraging consistent performance reporting and reviewsManage weekly KPI reporting and collaborate with stakeholders to drive long term solutions to key areas of attentionBusiness process mapping, optimization, and automationAnalytics reporting and visualization (dashboarding)Data management and storage through databasesData and reporting preparation for leadership presentations

This position provides a hybrid work arrangement, with in-office requirements 50% of the time. This role will also travel up to 40% of the time. 

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, Economics or related field or 4 years of relevant work experience 2+ years of analytical related work experienceData visualization software (Spotfire, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar)Analytical mindset, data analysis skillsetAbility to tell a story using reporting and other data visualization tools Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationsReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Scripting language proficiency (Python, R, SQL, Alteryx or similar)MBA or Advanced degree in Analytics or Finance preferred

The base pay range for this role is $64,885.00 to $88,440.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
