Business ManagementThe Analyst, Syndicate Coordinator supports the execution and settlement of fixed income new issue transactions by managing end-to-end deal processes, revenue reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit preparation. They will act as a key liaison between trading/sales, finance, compliance, and syndicate teams.
Role Responsibilities:
Business SupportPrepare new issues for dissemination to syndicate, sales and investors by gathering various offering documents, exempt lists, etc.Prepare and monitor new issue related documents such as buyers lists, exempt lists, syndicate page, OSC required filings, etc.Act as liaison with counsel and other stakeholders to ensure the successful closing of new issuesConfirm orders and final new issue allocations to distribution centersInput trades and set up new clients into DSTS and SalesforceResponsible for announcements, compliance documentation, and P&L reportsAct as liaison for LOB head on audit and compliance mattersGather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboardsField questions and requests from various internal stakeholders, clients, syndicate membersFinancial Analysis & Support: Daily review and sign-off on MFL P&L from GMO systemsReview and sign-off on new issue payments to syndicate membersHandle all dealer expense inquiries and prepare final report for invoicing to DCM clientsMonitor and analyze project expenses to ensure they are within budget and reallocated to the appropriate expense/client code.Act as a conduit for the efficient flow of invoice processing for payment in adherence with department processes, guidelines and vendor agreements.Administration Accountabilities:Planning, organizing and implementation of issuer road shows for the DCM team.Handles administrative duties as required (e.g. coordinating conference calls, expense management, travel bookings, etc.).Monitors, assists and coordinates sales conferences and marketing efforts/initiatives including event planning and logistics.Monitor departmental expenses and maintain an efficient electronic filing system to ensure reports, correspondence and financial documentation are maintained and readily available.Maintain confidential client information for the business, team, or leadership and ensure information is handled appropriately.Responsible for maintenance of client contact database (Salesforce). Coordinate with Salesforce Business Analysts to produce customized reports and ensure data quality is maintained on behalf of the business.Handle ad hoc reporting requests from finance, compliance, and other departments.Role Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in an administrative or professional support function in a fast paced environment, dealing with moderately complex issues and managing conflicting priorities is preferredBroad business knowledge and deep understanding of the organizational unit, its functions and products, and customer groups.Demonstrates very good understanding of the processes, policies and procedures required for supporting the business unit.Ability to organize moderate amounts of business information and develop it into cohesive, professional reports and presentationsDetail oriented, extremely well organizedAble to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a multitude of tasks, with conflicting priorities and timelines.Advanced level PC skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Ability to manage clients in a professional and courteous manner, and to develop and leverage professional working relationships.Ability to work both independently and well as be a team player.Ability to deal with confidential materials in an appropriate manner.Ability to exercise judgement to identify, diagnose and solve problemsVerbal & written communication skills - In-depth.Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.Base Salary

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
