What Customer Billing Services Contributes to Cardinal Health
Customer Billing Services is responsible for proactive research, customer and supplier inquiries, and dispute resolution all with a concentration on customer billing accuracy, acting as a liaison with internal and external key stakeholders. Services multiple customer accounts and/or processes in a fast paced and highly analytical environment.
Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with account management team and/or customer regarding invoicing & billing related issues SalesForce case work, including, but not limited to credit/rebills and invoicing issuesWork collaboratively with other functional areas in root cause analysis and problem resolutionEngage customers in billing process change recommendations and managing customer expectationsTrain and assist account management team in billing practices to mitigate customer inquiry case workApplies knowledge of standard OptiFreight processes to resolve unmatched transactionsProcess customer PO Files, customer File Shares, and customer reporting as requiredReview customer transactions prior to invoicing to ensure accuracy Attend internal and external meetings associated with problem solving billing issues for specific customersProficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, SEQL Server, and other OptiFreight systemsQualifications
Bachelors degree in business related field, or equivalent work experience preferredExperience working in ExcelKnowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.Experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.Ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.What is expected of you and others at this level
