Due to growth we are adding a Analyst, Pricing and Underwriting to our Finance Administration department!
The Analyst, Pricing and Underwriting is responsible for supporting the Pricing and Underwriting team with financial price modeling of provider networks, manufacturer rebates, cost of risk, and client administrative fees. The Analyst will support the growth team with client proposals and will be responsible for performing an array of analyses and creating reports that facilitate critical business decisions. The objective is to utilize and harness data in an effective manner to best serve our clients, promote our business model, and support client growth.
The Analyst evaluates agreements with various stakeholders via financial price trend modeling, analysis, and reporting. The position’s primary responsibility is to incorporate provider reimbursement data, client or prospective client pharmaceutical claims information, geographical data, network access, manufacturer rebate performance, allocated expenses, and other information to establish client pricing and other reports in support of Navitus sales and client retention.

Maintain and enhance sales support mechanisms for prospective clients Calculate risk of pricing metrics and value derived from the relationship with the client Review, pro-actively identify, and support implementation of opportunities for rebate, pricing, and discount performance improvement via analysis Research external and internal pricing trends and forecasts to contribute to overall pricing strategy Maintain databases to support business decisions and inform responses to client or prospective client requests Track and report client performance impacts of relevant programs. (e.g. Savings Connect) Monitoring of forecasted results as they compare to actuals Identify opportunities for client savings or program enhancements Perform analyses as requested by internal and external business owners, or in support of identified business objectives Develop an understanding of contractual terms and performance to assist in development of program strategies, pricing decisions, and contract language Perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy of pricing and processes Other duties as assigned QualificationsWhat our team expects from you?
Bachelor's degree required. Emphasis in business, economics, mathematics, or actuarial science preferred. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
