KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting adherence to the standards and policies, training, reporting and providing insight related to the Global Hotel inventory.  This includes analyzing and auditing of inventory data and transactions to ensure RCG targets and financial goals and requirements are met.  Supports team and business partners with the CrunchTime and shoreside inventory systems. 

 

Analyze monthly business reports to ensure all hotel inventory teams on all vessels are in compliance with set targets, polices and practices. Draft and/or manage data and reporting requests for internal business partners. Work with Scheduling team to ensure crew member schedule meets par needs for onboard inventory department for all brands. Provide guidance and training to ships and internal business partners regarding CrunchTime and stock management. Supports the replenishment, order processing, cycle counting and reporting needs for the hotel inventory held at warehouses around the world. Assist in the planning and execution for new programs or products. Make recommendations to drive efficiencies within the inventory program and supply chain in general. Support updating and publishing the Inventory Manager Manual for SQM and other Standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation. Assist Manager, as required, in implementing initiatives, goals and objectives that support the fleet and senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in accounting, finance, hospitality management, business administration, or related field or the international equivalent preferred. Experience:  1-2 years’ experience in supply chain management and/or logistics or 1-3 years¿ experience in statistics, business modeling, or forecasting.    Knowledgeable in Hotel and Food & Beverage provisioning.  Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask.  Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy in analysis and presentations along with strong operational focus. Interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management and employees.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, inquiries and complaints from management, customers, and the general public. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. May require travel to ships or warehouses for support and training as needed.
