Analyst, Government Pricing

IQVIA is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Analyst to join our Regulatory Compliance Operations team within the Managed Services division. This role supports government program services for clients in the life sciences and medical device sectors, with a focus on implementing pricing calculations into proprietary software platforms. The analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the Market Access Technology & Solutions business unit to deliver regulatory compliance solutions that meet evolving legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain complex calculation logic using SQL, XML, or Python within proprietary platforms.Translate business rules and regulatory requirements into executable technical specifications.Develop and execute test cases to validate calculation accuracy and system performance.Perform data validation, transformation, and reconciliation across multiple data sources including general ledger and transactional systems.Automate data workflows and reporting processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and support solution delivery.Troubleshoot and resolve data and logic issues in a timely and structured manner.Document technical processes, calculation logic, and data flow diagrams to support audit readiness and knowledge transfer.Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for optimization or enhancement.

Education & Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.Proficiency in SQL and XML; experience with Python or similar scripting languages is a strong plus.Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, and ETL processes.Experience with requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and production deployment.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel up to 10% as required by client engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with pharmaceutical pricing systems or regulatory compliance platforms.Familiarity with Model N or Revitas is a plus.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $67,400.00 - $168,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
