As a general accounting & insurance analyst you will support and performance the Mexico’s Insurances and Bonds process, internal control activities and financial compliance.
Your role will be:
Following up the local Insurances bidding, through analysis and integration of the information required by the Brokers, to obtain the best quotes with the best advantages on the Insurance market.Execute the contracting of any new local coverage required and the renewal of the existing ones, timely and with the best quotes of the market, through a Global BrokerDealing, following and negotiating all the variety of loss claims that could present the local business unit, timely inform to all the teams / managers / directors, involved about any loss claim and coordinate the appropriate decision on each insurance or bond renewal, supporting them with the quotes and information required for it.Construct and strengthen relationships with Insurance brokers, Insurance and Bond companies, to facilitate and have an accelerated solving issue over any negotiation.Consolidation and analysis of the information for the renewal of Corporate Global Umbrella Insurances.Requesting and negotiating any new bond request, through the global brokers, looking forward to maintaining the warranties based in Ingredion Mexico’s financial health and guarantee the legal requirements obligated by agreement for legal suits, governmental requirements or utilities supply.Collaborate with HR and treasury to coordinate the safety and logistics for the pickup and delivery of the values (gold coins) required for employees’ service award.Assist with relevant financial regulations and standards compliance.Assist in the preparation and delivery of information for internal/external auditsAssist as needed to the controlling area by performing physical assets verification and by performing review analysis over users’ system accessParticipate in special projects related to internal controls and risk management as neededElaborate all the reports required for Corporate Risk Director and Mexico General ControllerYour profile needs this quialifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience in risk management of regional or country insurances & bonds administration, general accounting or internal controlDemonstrated ability to understand business processes to face the challenge of being responsible for the company risk management.Knowledge about insurance limits, types of coverage, legal conditionsAdvanced English
