Execution of transportation policies, procedures, plans and strategies; directly responsible for the order once in OTM through delivery, including mode selection, load optimization, and routing guide compliance.
– Works across all Supply Chain and Logistics functions, and cooperatively with numerous service providers, to ensure timely pick-up/delivery of WIP and FG shipments.
– Monitors customer order and shipment queries continuously throughout the day.
– Ensures shipments are optimized through utilization of Oracle report.
– Executes responsive trans support for short lead time shipments, expedited deliveries, mode conversions, in transit diversions, and other unplanned activities.
– Collaborates with facilities, customer service and carriers in the investigation of operational issues at the customer or Kraft Heinz Company facilities.
– Leads or facilitates the resolution process with all parties.
– Supports and assist in creation of internal and external development of SOP's, training, KPI metrics, continuous improvement ideas, and L6S projects.
– Creates, monitors and leads initiatives to take inefficient Transportation related costs out of the system.
