Our Fixed Asset Advisory Services (FAAS) practice provides valuation of tangible assets for insurance, financial reporting and taxation purposes, fixed asset tagging, inventory and reconciliation. Our Global FAAS team in India operates as an extension of our global offices and works very closely with their counterparts on diverse nature of valuation engagements across industries.

Day-to day responsibilities:
Working with all the team members to understand client requirements in detail and initiate preliminary data gathering and analysisGather data and information pertinent to the engagementInvestigating and developing analyses to estimate the value for tangible assets (buildings and machinery & equipment) for insurance reinstatement, financial reporting, taxation purposes, etc. with a focus on the Australian marketDelivering accurate, supportable and unbiased valuation conclusionsReporting and presenting analyses and conclusions including written reportsWorking with management to build and maintain client relationshipsWorking individually and/or on multi-person project teamsWorking is predominantly desk-based execution and analysis for the positionAssisting with performing valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities within various industries using accepted and relevant approachesEssential Traits:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical, etc. preferred but not essential) or/ and relevant Post-Graduation from an accredited college or university 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environmentAbility to demonstrate high level of attention to detail and self-reviewBasic knowledge of building construction types, process plants and common Machinery & Equipment good to haveProficient MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint abilitiesExperience in data and analytical tools such as Microsoft PowerBI, etc. is an added advantageAbility to quickly adapt and learn new data and analytical tools to assist with the valuation analysisExcellent analytical, organization and project management skillsAbility and willingness to handle additional hours as needed to comply with client requestsProficiency in spoken and written EnglishAbility to manage confidential, sensitive information.About Kroll
